СВИДЕТЕЛЬСТВО ИЛЛЮЗИИ: СТЕРЕОФОТОГРАФИИ ПЕРВОЙ МИРОВОЙ ВОЙНЫ

Аннотация


В статье речь идет о стереоскопических фотографиях военных действий из серии The Great War Чарльза Хилтона Гирдвуда (Realistic Travel Publishers). Созданные в условиях строгой цензуры постановочные стереофотографии войны рассматриваются не столько как сомнительные свидетельства и пропагандистские материалы, нуждающиеся в разоблачении, сколько как специфические следы опыта соприсутствия смерти на войне. В силу сочетания значений постановочного и документального, иллюзорного и реального они ставят зрителя в непростую позицию телесного и этического вовлечения в действие и одновременно дистанцирования от него.
